Globally, 4,829 men and women became CFA charterholders in 2008.

These exceptional men and women have successfully completed the three levels of the CFA Program and have worked as investment professionals for a minimum of four years.

Now these new CFA charterholders are fully prepared to lead the fi nancial industry in pursuit of excellence. They have demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of

Taiwan is the top 9 market of new CFA candidate growth for December 2007 and June 2008

From FY2007 to FY2008 (the CFA Institute fiscal year begins on September 1 and ends August 31), the top 10 markets of new CFA candidate growth for the December 2007 and June 2008 exams combined are:

United States (23,685 new candidates, 27 percent growth from FY2007)
China (7,778 new candidates, 68 percent growth from FY2007)
Canada (6,223 new candidates, 35 percent growth from FY2007)
United Kingdom (5,299 new candidates, 42 percent growth from FY2007)
Hong Kong (5,028 new candidates, 25 percent growth from FY2007)
Singapore (4,019 new candidates, 66 percent growth from FY2007)
South Korea (3,276 new candidates, 55 percent growth from FY2007)
Australia (2,215 new candidates, 71 percent growth from FY2007)

世界各地的監管機構肯定了CFA特許狀的價值

世界各地的監管機構肯定了CFA特許狀的價值。幾乎美國所有的州證券委員會都豁免CFA特許狀持有人參加投資顧問執照考試。紐約證券交易所 (NYSE) 和美國金融業監管機構 (FINRA) 豁免通過CFA二級考試的部分申請人參加部分考試。

在台灣，CFA 特許狀持有人在符合一定條件(例如：通過當地證券相關法規等測驗)並通過資格審查即可獲取證券投資分析人員(一般稱為「證券分析師」)資格認可*。

*申請證券投資分析人員資格認可者，以在國外取得證券分析師資格，具二年以上實際經驗，並通過證券投資信託及顧問事業業務員之法規及共同科目金融市場常識與職業道德之測驗合格者為限。

此外，澳州、加拿大、希臘、香港、新加坡、土耳其和越南的監管機構也認可CFA特許狀符合當地執照或資格要求。在印尼、巴基斯坦、菲律賓和泰國的監管機構要求投資專業人士必須通過一定級別的CFA考試才可執業。

The CFA Institute Centre for Financial Market Integrity recently launched an online review of the markets that offer waivers for CFA Institute members and candidates. Included is a list of the growing number of jurisdictions that now require professionals to pass a certain level of the CFA exam in order to practice – a great membership benefit to promote to potential society members!
